Barnie's Coffee Promotes Henderson to Vice President of Operations
Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Company has announced the promotion of Adriana Henderson to Vice President of Operations.
“Adriana joined Barnie’s Coffee in January of 2023 as Director of Operations
and has done an impressive job in restructuring our 12,000 square-foot
production and distribution plant by building a solid coffee roasting team in
Southern Orange County,” said Ron Pecora, CEO of Barnie’s Coffee.
Henderson has also doubled the capacity of the plant’s Dietrich
roasting equipment to meet increased high demand across Barnie’s omni
channels of e-commerce, Amazon, Grocery, Wholesale, and Fueled by
Barnie’s Licensed Cafes.
In addition to her successful management of the production facility, her
increased responsibilities include companywide strategic planning, business
development and continuous improvement on leadership for the entire
Barnie’s Coffee team.
Before joining Barnie’s Coffee, Henderson was the Plant Manager for Country
Pure Foods in Central Florida. The company produces a variety of beverages
for retail, wholesale, and food service markets with a staff of more than 125
employees. Early in her career, she served as a production supervisor for
Pinnacle Foods. She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a
Bachelor of Science in Business and holds certifications from Dupont (Train
the Trainer) and Go-Lean-Six Training.
Barnie’s Coffee, founded in 1980, offers flavored and single-origin coffees both in brew formats of ground coffee and single-serve cups in 16 different flavors. In 2024, 10 flavors were added to the lineup including 6 new limited-time-only flavors and 4 vault-release flavors that were brought back to our fans by popular demand. In 2023 alone, more than 10.4 million cups of Santa’s White Christmas were consumed year-round. Our total roasted coffee production is now projected to be more than 500,000 pounds per year.
In addition to Barnie’s store online, the 43-year-old company offers a variety
of flavored coffees, specialty roasts, and tea on other online platforms such
as Amazon and in select grocery stores such as Publix and Winn Dixie
throughout the Southeast. Barnie’s Coffee also operates at partnered cafés
in the Orlando International Airport Terminal C, the Hitt Library at the
University of Central Florida, Stetson University, Rollins College, Seminole
County Schools, and the Orlando Science Center.
