Step 1: Research Barnie's® Coffee
Read through our website. If you like what you see, then evaluate if you meet the minimum financial requirements needed to open a Barnie's® Coffee franchise. We have a minimum net worth requirement of $500,000, with $125,000 in liquid capital. We do not provide financing, but we can refer you to lenders who are familiar with our concept and system.

When we receive your completed franchise application, we will contact you regarding potential franchising opportunities with Barnie's® Coffee.

Step 3: Complete Application
Once you submit an inquiry, we will email you additional information about the Barnie's® Coffee franchise program, along with our franchise application. After reviewing that information, complete the application and fax or mail it back to our corporate headquarters.

Step 4: Evaluation of Your Application
When we receive your completed application, we will evaluate it along with your desired location and credit, finance and background information. If you meet our requirements we will call to schedule an interview and provide you with more information on Barnie's® Coffee and our franchise program. Depending on geography, the initial meeting could be a teleconference. However, we do prefer our applicants to come to Orlando and tour our headquarters, local stores and warehouse.

Step 5: The Interview Process
All parties involved in the decision-making process will be invited to the Barnie's® Coffee corporate headquarters to meet with our Franchise Team. Your interview will be conducted by our Franchise Development Coordinator, and you will receive our Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC). After your interview, you will have the opportunity to tour our warehouse and a few of our local stores. There we encourage you to sample our products and observe how a Barnie’s® Coffee franchise operates.

Step 6: The Decision
From that point, much of the initiative is in your hands. Review our UFOC and call us with any questions that may arise. Once we are both comfortable that the business relationship will be beneficial for all parties, we can move forward and investigate potential Barnie’s® Coffee franchise sites, sign the franchise agreement and pay the franchise fee. Upon signing the franchise agreement, you will be given a Store Opening Timeline and begin working with your Franchise Operations Manager.

Step 7: Pre-Opening Process
By following the Store Opening Timeline and utilizing the experience of the Franchise Operations Manager, we hope to have your Barnie's® Coffee franchise opened within 5-6 months of signing a franchise agreement.

Step 8: Schedule Training
You and your staff will attend training in Orlando at the Barnie's® Coffee headquarters and Barnie's® Coffee training stores. Training lasts approximately two (2) weeks and will include in-store and classroom instruction. There is no limit to the number of employees that you can bring to this training.

Step 9: Store Opening
Prior to opening, your Franchise Operations Manager will assist you in setting up your final inspections, last minute training for new hires and finally, your Grand Opening. Your Franchise Operations Manager will be there to assist you with your Grand Opening of your Barnie's® Coffee franchise.
