My name is Adam Singleton, and if there are two things I’m addicted to it’s coffee and blogging. That’s why I was so excited to represent Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen at FLBlogCon!
Hundreds of bloggers flocked to Full Sail University in Orlando for the mecca of social media conventions. The Florida Blogger and Social Media Conference (better known as the more colloquial FLBlogCon) is the largest event of its kind in the Southeast. Here, more than 350 social media socialites and tech-savvy influencers gathered to share their innovative practices in maneuvering an evolving online world.
Of course, this many creative minds in one room would need something to get the creative juices flowing. As a 34-year leader in specialty coffee and an innovator in product design, Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen was a natural fit for FLBlogCon.
This was a great opportunity to introduce the attendees to a new coffee product as innovative as they are: BREWSTICKS. A category-changing liquid instant coffee, BREWSTICKS was a hit at FLBlogCon. Bloggers from across the Sunshine State were able to witness Barnie’s baristas preparing cold-brewed iced coffees from portable packets. Many were surprised that a café-quality instant coffee could truly be… instant!
When at FLBlogCon, do as the bloggers do. Our baristas encouraged everyone to get creative on social media with their BREWSTICKS Coffees. In the spirit of innovation, Barnie’s hosted a social media contest. The rules were simple: the best selfie with a Barnie’s Coffee wins a dinner for four at our Zagat Award-winning café in Winter Park.
It was no surprise that we received some incredibly creative entries! Below are some of our favorites:

Jennifer DeWitt! Jennifer had a lot of coffee. She was so excited to have as much Barnie’s Coffee as she wanted – so much so that she shared her caffeinated joy by lovingly tossing her coffee cup at one of her dearest friends. (@mangleheid was not harmed during the making of this photo.)
Congratulations Jennifer, and thanks to everyone who participated.
Organizer Bess Auer put on a phenomenal conference and Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen was proud to be a sponsor. I had a blast and now I can’t wait until next year’s FLBlogCon!
