Earlier today, the City of Orlando and Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen proclaimed December 22, 2014 Santa’s White Christmas Day.
Regina Hill, City of Orlando’s District 5 Commissioner, and Jonathan Smiga, CEO of Barnie’s CoffeeKitchen, officiated the proclamation.
This is the first ever day of appreciation for America’s favorite flavored coffee, Santa’s White Christmas!
So many out there love Santa’s White Christmas. People tell me time and time again that Santa’s White Christmas is their absolute favorite coffee. Today was a celebration of that.
Here’s some of what Jonathan Smiga had to say:
"Barnie’s CoffeKitchen has been an Orlando hometown favorite, going on 35 years. We are really pleased to be apart of the revitalization of downtown. We’ve invested in our store at Orange Ave. & Pine St. at the City Arts Factory and at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts with two new espresso bar cafes. This is part of our commitment to the arts and to downtown Orlando.
What a great day to celebrate, at the eve of the holidays, Santa’s White Christmas Day in Orlando. It brings warmth and love to everyone who drinks it. It’s been a long-time favorite. And we are happy to be apart of the downtown community."

The proclamation took place in the middle of bustling downtown Orlando in front of the Downtown Orlando Information Center.
Happy Santa’s White Christmas Day!
