Barnie's Coffee Donates $1 Per Bag To Support UCF Knights Pantry Food Insecurity Program
Orlando FL, October 5, 2023 — Opening ceremonies for Barnies Café at the University of Central Florida John C. Hitt Library included the first check of $2,500 presented to the Knights Pantry Food Insecurity Program. Barnie’s Coffee Chief Executive Officer, Ron Pecora, presented a check to UCF President Alexander Cartwright, and the Knights Pantry representatives.
“We recognize the national food insecurity program and the efforts of the Knights Pantry and are donating $1 per bag of all coffee sold. ” Pecora stated.
Barnie’s creates three exclusive Knightro coffee blends for the UCF Hitt Library by UCF Alumni and coffee expert, Anne Valdez.
