INGREDIENTS:
Vanilla Cake Mix in a box
3 Eggs
1/2 cup of Vegetable Oil
1 cup of Water
Icing of your choice (we used Cream Cheese Icing)
Red, White, and Blue Sprinkles

EQUIPMENT:
Disposable Cake Pan
Non-stick cooking spray
Large Mixing Bowl
Electric Mixer
Shallow Plate or Dish
Ramekin-size bowls

The recipe yields 12 perfectly-sized dot cakes Then add creamy frosting with red, white, and blue sprinkles to add sparkle to occasion. This is a fun dessert that's guaranteed to make people smile.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray disposable cake pan so the cake doesn't stick to the bottom surface.
2. Follow directions on the box cake mix to add vanilla cake mix, 3 eggs, 1 cup of water and 1/2 cup of vegetable oil into a large bowl and mix on medium speed for 2 minutes.
3. Pour batter into prepared 9x13 inch cake pan and bake for approximately 23-28 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
4. Cool cake for 15 minutes. Allow the cake to cool completely before you press down with your ramekin as a cutter (see visual below) Press down each ramekin into the cake and lift. The cake will stay inside and make it easy to top.
5. Top generously with your vanilla cream icing. Use a small spatula to smooth the frosting so its level with the rim of the jar.

6. Pour the red, white, and blue sprinkles onto a shallow plate or dish.
7. Turn each cake upside down and gently press the fronting into the sprinkles until it's completely covered.

8. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to enjoy.
