These Hazelnut Mocha Brownies Are Perfect for Date Night

Hi! I’m Kristen Manieri from Orlando Date Night Guide. On my blog, I write about fun and creative things for you and your sweetheart to do when you’re out on the town.

But if you want to spend a date night at home, then I have the perfect dessert for you: My Hazelnut Mocha Brownies.

They’re rich, chocolaty brownies with a delicious hazelnut coffee flavor – that I love so much. These brownies are perfect for a decadent date night. Plus, my recipe is gluten-free, so everyone can enjoy!

  • ½ cup butter (softened)
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for melting)
  • ¼ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (to stir in)
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup almond meal
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 4 Hawaiian Hazelnut BREWSTICKS
  • ¾ tsp. baking soda
  • pinch of salt

Start by preheating your oven to 325°F and grease a 9x13 baking pan.

Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan on medium heat, then set aside.

In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together. Add all of the dry ingredients and mix on low until everything is incorporated.

The brownies are going to have their delicious coffee flavor from BREWSTICKS. Whenever I need an iced coffee fix, I reach for a packet of Hawaiian Hazelnut. And the flavor is going to taste even better baked inside these brownies.

Pour 4 Hawaiian Hazelnut BREWSTICKS.

Grab your melted chocolate and butter and mix on a medium speed for just about 15 seconds.

Stir in the chocolate chips for even more chocolaty deliciousness.

Pour your batter into a greased pan. Slip it in the oven for about 35 minutes.

Once it’s ready, you’ll smell freshly baked brownies and freshly brewed coffee. (Trust me, they taste just as good as they smell!) I love enjoying these with my husband, with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.

Make your next date night extra memorable with my hazelnut mocha brownies! For more coffee flavored recipes, check out
